I am a cosplayer with 10 years of prop making and cosplay experience as well as film making experience as Prop master and Art director. I’m also one of the organizer of Otakyun, one of the biggest event in Sarawak and in charge of the programs, Cosplay and Props Competition. Other than that I also teach prop making skill on YouTube. Weon Haur & Fujiwara Kazuko are cosplay couple in Malaysia. They each won champion in Garena League of Legends Cosplay Competition, and have been invited to be part of the performance of League of Legends Live 2017 in Beijing. They are also the champion of AniManGaki very own’s OTP Competition (2010) and Group Cosplay Competition (2016). Their current passion is doing family cosplay with their daughter.

A refundable deposit of RM 100.00 is required to enter the competition.
Deposits will be refunded to participants who participated and were present during the competition. Absence or pull outs of any participants without informing the crew by 11th of August 2024, Sunday will result in a forfeit of the deposit paid.
All deposits will be refunded within thirty (30) working days after the competition day (ie. by 24th September 2024)

• Set up props before the performance
• As a prop themselves
• As a background extra
• As a ‘Mook‘
• Clean up props after the performance

1. Explicit clothing
2. Sharp or metal props
3. Illegal apparel as stated by the Malaysia Law
4. Illegal weapons as stated by the Malaysian Firearms Law
5. Live or loaded projectile weaponry, including any type of gun

1. Participants will be disqualified from the competition if any of the actions are done:

    

   1. Failure to resubmit video to the/ Organiser by the deadline set
   2. Failure to register and attend the Rehearsal on Saturday, 24/08/2024 (time to be advised)
   3. Failure to check-in 30 minutes at the backstage area before competition time, Sunday, 25/08/2024 @ 3:00PM
   4. Usage of illegal props/weapons/substance during the competition
   5. Performing acts and using words that are deemed inappropriate or sensitive under Malaysian law (Keep it PG everyone! There’s children around)
2. Disqualification will result in one (1) year softban of the participants from any future AniManGaki related competition and deposit being forfeited.
3. During the competition, the following Penalty marks will be deducted if participants performs the following no-nos:

• AniManGaki is not responsible for any damages to participants’ costumes or props during the competition.
• AniManGaki is not responsible for participant’s physical damage or injury during the competition. First-aid will be provided if necessary.
• AniManGaki is not responsible for any property or emotional losses during participant’s participation in the competition.
• Participants are held responsible for any damages to stage and other equipment caused during the competition.
• AniManGaki reserves the right to use participant’s images and performance recordings for promotional purposes.
• AniManGaki reserves the rights to alter the rules and structure of the competition as they see fit.
• By submitting your entries, all participants agree and acknowledge that all intellectual property rights thereto shall belong to AniManGaki. AniManGaki shall have the exclusive right to use, edit, modify and publish the entry submitted by all the participants, publish or not publish the names of the participants, in any way it deems fit for any advertising, trade, promotional purpose and for any other reason whatsoever, without any further notice to the participants and the participants shall not claim ownership or any payment or compensation on the materials. For the avoidance of doubt, the submissions will not be edited for judging purposes.
• By participating in AniManGaki competition and activities, all attendees and participants grant AniManGaki the right to capture photographs and video recordings. These materials may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, print media, and other marketing channels. Attendees and participants waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product and understand that no royalty, fee, or other compensation will be provided for such use.
• AniManGaki reserves the right to disqualify anyone who is deemed unsuitable for the competition, and judges’ decisions are final.
• All results given by judges are finalised and cannot be contested.
• AniManGaki will not bear any cost related to the entry of the participants.
• By participating in this competition, each participant accepts the conditions stated in the rules and agrees to be bound by the decisions of AniManGaki. Every submission is final, please ensure all details provided are complete and accurate. Incomplete and inaccurate submissions will be disqualified.

• All participants must be fully vaccinated.
• Face masks are encouraged, but not mandatory.
• Sanitise and maintain good hygiene whenever possible.
• A Self Covid RTK test is encouraged to ensure everyone’s safety.
