Omatsuri

"Omatsuri" in Japan generally means Japanese festivals. They usually happen around traditional holidays in Japan and can last as short as a few days to half a month. Its themes are usually derived from colourful or seasonal-based selections like cherry blossoms, snow, or for AniManGaki's, lantern themes. Matsuri is a greatly favoured celebration in many areas of Japan, and sometimes even serves as a symbol of revered celebrations during harvest times, or even for important literature. For AniManGaki, it is a celebration partly in revere of all things anime and manga!

Undeniably, it is the entertainment organised in conjunction with the Matsuri that attracts people of all ages to linger around longer. In Japan, one wouldn't be surprised if they came across sumo wrestling matches in a Matsuri! But for now, due to reasons concerning safety policies and a lack of resources, AniManGaki visitors will just have to be content with our more "demure" games. Some of which being well-liked games from the previous Matsuri last year: Yoyo Tsuri, Goldfish Scooping, Daruma Otoshi, Lottery, and Shooting Spree.
